The Blue Room is in the heart of downtown Bellingham, on the corner of Railroad Ave. and E Holly St. The main entrance to The Blue Room is on the Holly St. side, underneath the black awning and through the blue door. Through that door, there is a stairwell that takes you up into the venue. Our hours of operations are dependent on the time of year and programming, but you can usually count on us being open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We also have shows on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday depending on our show schedule, so be sure to follow us online for the most up to date information!

We have a barrier that separates the all ages section from the 21+ area that is the designated zone for alcohol consumption. The security staff working the door will point out where this barrier is, as well as the respective sections to you when you buy a ticket! If you are under the age of 21, you will receive a blue wristband and must remain in the all ages section for the duration of the show. If you are over 21, you will receive a custom Blue Room stamp and are allowed to be in either section unless you have an alcoholic beverage, in which case you must remain in the 21+ section until you are finished with your drink.

The Blue Room is wheelchair accessible via an elevator on the opposite side of the building, behind Jun sushi and right next to the outdoor stairwell. There are instructions for how to operate the elevator posted directly next to the door to the elevator on both the 1st and 3rd floors. Once you enter the venue through the back door, you will be greeted by a member of our security team, or else you should make your way to the ticket desk to check in.

Yes, the Blue Room has hosted many major private events including birthday parties, quinceaneras, wedding receptions, and work retreats! We continue to offer our private event rental services, and for more information here please contact info@blueroombham.com
